Steven H Schwartz, O.D., received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Illinois, where he was honored as a recipient of the George Huff Award for Scholastics and Athletics. He was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Physiologic Optics and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he received a Deans List with Honors distinction.
Dr. Schwartz is Board Certified by the State of Florida and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association. He has practiced in Jacksonville since 1981, providing comprehensive eye care to both adults and children.
He volunteers at the Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, is the proud father of three children, and is a loyal Jaguars fan.
